The Pé-de-Xumbo, association widely known in the panorama of the performing arts and of the registration and study of traditional dances in Portugal, is founder and responsible since 1996 for Andanças - international festival of folk dances. Works to promote the music and dance of traditional root. A professional team is dedicated to the recovery of these cultural practices by records, co-productions, art creation, research, training and informal education for all ages.
